I have just begun to meander through the following websites, but for those of you who are chomping at the inquiry bit, you may want to check them out.
The first one is the Digital Human Library where you can take virtual field trips and conduct digital video conferences with live experts. Talk about your primary sources! You will have to create an account for yourself, but the content is extensive from which to choose and from what I have seen so far, it's FREE. I was having some issues with trying to "book" an expert (aka meBook), but that could just be me. Check it out at digitalhumanlibrary.com.
Another website you might like to discover has pre-fabricated Canadian UNITS based on the inquiry process. It offers some free lessons, but you will have to pay for the good stuff. For those of you with generous principals and/or large coffers, the full units cost $150.00. The Critical Thinking Consortium (TC2) is worth a view at tc2.ca.
